Dover Harbour AuthorityIn order to provide the best possible value, we carried out a detailed survey of the existing structures to determine how much could be re-used. We then designed a new layout incorporating 3 metre wide pontoons. These pontoons were fitted with gas, fuel and sewage pumps and an operator cabin for the service berths. We supplied well over 100 units including bridges, a fuel berth and fingers. | |
Torbay Harbour AuthorityThis access bridge was required to act as a slipway for dinghies launching from the landing stage at all tide states. The problem posed by the tidal fall required a solution in the shape of an access bridge 27 metres long and 2.5m wide - weighing in at a hefty 6 tonnes! We also designed a landing stage equipped to take the loading of this very large access bridge. |
A long standing customer of Solent Marine to whom we have supplied a full range of pontoon systems extending and refurbishing their Marina facilities.
We have supplied the Jersey Harbour Authority with a variety of pontoons with freeboards ranging from 250mm to 900mm.
The local Harbour Master has been a regular customer since Solent Marine started trading in June 1991. The Hamble HM has purchased pontoons, pontoon re-decking and inspection pontoons on the Hamble River.
